These are our own notes from vaping it. The throat hit bar changes when you pick a strength.
What we think
If you like custard, you'll like this. It's thick and creamy going in, then the vanilla comes through on the exhale and it finishes nice and smooth. It's a proper comfort vape. Good after your tea, or all day if you're a dessert person. It also goes really well with Hangsen Strawberry if you fancy strawberries and custard.
The flavour
- Going in: Creamy custard
- On the exhale: Sweet vanilla
- Aftertaste: Rich and smooth
- Flavour type: Dessert
- Ice: No ice
Strengths
Comes in 0mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg freebase. If you’re not sure where to start, have a think about how much you smoked. Lots of people go 18mg or 12mg to begin with and work their way down to 6mg and 3mg over time. If it feels harsh, go down a strength. If you’re puffing on it non stop, go up one. There’s a 0mg version too if you’ve come off nicotine altogether.
Mix and devices
It’s a high PG juice (30VG/70PG), so it’s quite thin. That means sharp flavour and a decent throat hit, and it soaks into small MTL coils really quickly. It’s at its best in an MTL tank or starter kit with a coil of 1.0 ohm or above. Some pod kits are made for thicker 50/50 liquids and can leak a bit with high PG, so it’s worth checking yours first.
Mix & match
Don’t forget it’s part of the mix & match, any 4 bottles for £20, or any 10 for £45. Throw in whatever else you fancy and the basket works out the saving for you.
About Hangsen
Hangsen has been about since the early days of vaping and it’s still one of the names we trust most. The flavours taste like what they say on the bottle, which sounds obvious but isn’t always the case. Have a look at the full Hangsen range.
A quick note for anyone searching. Hangsen Vanilla Custard e-liquid, Vanilla Custard vape juice, Vanilla Custard e-juice and Vanilla Custard vape liquid are all the same thing, the 10ml bottle on this page. Some people still call it e-cigarette juice, which is fine by us too.
