What does 50/50 mean?
It just means the liquid is half VG (vegetable glycerine) and half PG (propylene glycol). It's the middle ground. Thick enough that it won't leak out of your pod, thin enough to soak into a small mouth to lung coil properly. If you're not sure what to buy for your kit, 50/50 is nearly always the safe answer.
Why 50/50?
- It suits pod kits. Most of them are made for it.
- Balanced throat hit. You'll feel it, but it's smoother than high PG.
- Good flavour. PG carries the taste and VG smooths it out.
- A bit of cloud. More than high PG, nowhere near a sub ohm setup.
Which ones are 50/50?
Every nic salt we sell (ElfLiq and Edge Bar Salts) is 50/50, and so is the whole Edge Core freebase range. You can also get Hangsen Heisenberg in 50/50.
What coil?
Anything from about 0.8 ohm upwards. Those run cooler and suit mouth to lung vaping and salts.

They're for different things. 50/50 is for MTL and pod kits, 70/30 is for sub ohm tanks.
Does 50/50 give a throat hit?
Yes, a medium one. Nice and balanced.
What coil should I use?
About 0.8 ohm and up for MTL vaping.
Can I use 50/50 in a high PG tank?
Usually, yes. It might soak in a touch slower in really tight MTL coils.
