So what are nic salts?
Nic salts (nicotine salts if you want the full name) use a slightly different form of nicotine to normal e-liquid. The upshot is they're a lot smoother on the back of your throat. That's why you can get them at 10mg and 20mg without it feeling like you've swallowed a cactus.
If you've ever used a disposable, you've used nic salts. So if you're moving from bars to a refillable pod kit, a salt is the closest thing you'll get. That's exactly what ElfLiq (made by Elf Bar) and Edge Bar Salts are for. Same flavours, just in a 10ml bottle.
10mg or 20mg?
If you're switching from disposables, start on 20mg. Almost every bar was 20mg so that's what your body is used to. 10mg is great for lighter smokers or if you're already cutting down. A lot of our regulars started on 20mg and drop to 10mg after a few months.
What can I use them in?
Low powered mouth to lung kits. Pod kits, pod mods and MTL starter kits. Look for a coil or pod of around 0.8 ohm or above. Please don't put 20mg salts in a big sub ohm tank. It'll be way too much nicotine and you won't enjoy it.

Questions about Nic Salts
What is a nic salt?
It's an e-liquid that uses nicotine salt instead of normal freebase nicotine. It's smoother on your throat, so it's sold in higher strengths like 10mg and 20mg.
Are nic salts stronger than normal e-liquid?
They come in higher strengths, but a 20mg salt has the same amount of nicotine per ml as a 20mg freebase. It just feels a lot smoother.
What strength nic salt should I get?
20mg if you smoked a fair bit or you're coming off disposables. 10mg if you were a lighter smoker or you want a gentler hit.
Can I use nic salts in any vape?
They're made for low powered MTL kits like pod kits. Keep them out of sub ohm tanks and high wattage mods, it'll be way too much.
Do nic salts taste like disposables?

What VG/PG are your nic salts?
All of our salts are 50VG/50PG.
What coil should I use with nic salts?
Anything from about 0.8 ohm upwards. Lower ohm coils run hotter and are meant for high VG, low nicotine juice.
Is ElfLiq the same as Elf Bar?
ElfLiq is Elf Bar's own e-liquid range. They made it to taste like their disposables, just in a refill bottle.
Do nic salts count towards mix & match?
They do. Every salt counts towards any 4 for u00a320 and any 10 for u00a345, and you can mix them with freebase too.
How long does a 10ml bottle last?
It depends how much you vape, but for most pod kit users it's a few days. That's roughly the same as several disposables.
