What's freebase?

Freebase is the original type of e-liquid, the stuff everyone vaped before nic salts came along. It gives you more of a throat hit than salts, and honestly a lot of ex smokers prefer it for exactly that reason. It feels more like the real thing. It also comes in a much wider range of strengths, from 0mg right up to 18mg.

The brands

• Hangsen. One of the oldest names in vaping and still one of our favourites. Loads of simple, single flavours in high PG, from tobacco and menthol to fruit and desserts.
• Edge Core. UK made 50/50 liquids in fruit, menthol and tobacco. Good value and they work well in pod kits.
• Jacks. A smooth Virginia rolling tobacco in 12mg and 18mg.

Picking a strength

Most freebase comes in 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg. If you were a heavy smoker, 18mg is usually where people start. Somewhere around 10 to 20 a day, 12mg tends to be about right. 6mg and 3mg are for lighter smokers or anyone stepping down. Plenty of our customers have worked their way down from 18mg to 3mg over a year or so.

High PG or 50/50?

High PG (30VG/70PG) is thin, the flavour is sharp and the throat hit is strong. It's great in a classic MTL tank or starter kit with a 1.0 ohm coil or higher. 50/50 is a little thicker and smoother, and it's the safer bet in a modern pod kit where really thin juice can leak.

What kit?

Freebase from 3mg to 18mg is for mouth to lung vaping. Pod kits, starter kits and MTL tanks. It's not meant for big powerful sub ohm setups.

Freebase vape juice, e-juice or e-liquid?

Call it whatever you like. Some people search for freebase e-liquid, some say freebase vape juice, freebase e-juice or freebase vape liquid, and plenty of people still call it freebase e-cig liquid or e-cigarette juice. It's all the same stuff, and every freebase vape juice we sell is right here on this page.
