These are our own notes from vaping it. The throat hit bar changes when you pick a strength.
What we think
It tastes like a proper ripe banana, not those foam banana sweets, which is what we were half expecting the first time we tried it. Smooth and fruity going in, with a soft creamy sweetness that sits on your tongue afterwards. Mix it with Hangsen Caramel or Vanilla if you fancy a bit of a banoffee vibe.
How it tastes
- Going in: Ripe banana
- On the exhale: Soft and creamy
- Aftertaste: Mellow sweetness
- Flavour type: Fruit
- Ice: No ice
Picking a strength
You can get it in 0mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg. It’s freebase, so there’s a bit more catch on the throat than a nic salt. Heavier smokers usually start on 18mg, most people who smoked 10 to 20 a day find 12mg about right, and 6mg or 3mg are good if you’re a lighter smoker or cutting down. There’s a 0mg version too if you’ve come off nicotine altogether.
Will it work in my vape?
It’s a high PG juice (30VG/70PG), so it’s quite thin. That means sharp flavour and a decent throat hit, and it soaks into small MTL coils really quickly. It’s at its best in an MTL tank or starter kit with a coil of 1.0 ohm or above. Some pod kits are made for thicker 50/50 liquids and can leak a bit with high PG, so it’s worth checking yours first.
Mix & match
This one’s in our mix & match deal: any 4 bottles for £20, or any 10 for £45. It doesn’t matter what you mix it with, any brand, flavour or strength counts, and the price drops automatically in the basket.
About Hangsen
Hangsen has been about since the early days of vaping and it’s still one of the names we trust most. The flavours taste like what they say on the bottle, which sounds obvious but isn’t always the case. Have a look at the full Hangsen range.
